Early melanoma detection guidance in New Zealand primary care : a phased implementation project

Early melanoma detection guidance in New Zealand primary care : a phased implementation project

Project Dates:

2023 - 2024

What do we want clinicians to do?
  • Have a conversation with priority group patients who have not completed bowel screening.
  • Use the desk top trifold to guide the conversation.

Opportunistic conversations:
  • GPs and practice nurses will be encouraged to initiate discussions about bowel screening during consultations to support informed decision-making.
